Format of the offset.txt file

Manually editing the offset.txt is possible but not recommended. I will tell you the format of this file now, but I can’t tell you how to tweak the figures to make the scenery align on both sims.

WSSS02C 000100CF 00670253 155 127 022.92

From left to right, the 6 fields are:

– ICAO code and runway ID. For human reference only; Open744 does not make use of this info.

– runway latitude in the PS1 database.
– runway longitude in the PS1 database.
These two values are used to locate a match inside Open744, for which the microshift offset will be applied.

– latitude offset, in feet.
– longitude offset, in feet.
These two values specify how much to microshfit the matching PS1 runway and ILS. These are the values you need to tweak

– runway heading in degrees TRUE. The PS1 runway will be rotated to this exact heading. Note: if you specify the reciprocal heading, your ILS beams and approach lighting will appear on the wrong end of the runway!
